Weyes Blood Interview

Listening to Weyes Blood (the stage name of Natalie Mering) can be like looking in a mirror. Mering’s songs, although perceived to be a commentary on greater society, are really a call for the listener to look inward and examine their place in the world. I talked with Mering about this introspection on the night before she began tour with Father John Misty, and hours before the news broke that she signed to SubPop Records, the home of Misty and many other amazing artists. Her latest album, A Front Row Seat To Earth, is out now on Mexican Summer.
